News From The Campgrounds

We are so excited to bring you the January newsletter filled with stories, pictures, helpful tips, and so much more. Travel Resorts of America wants to put you first, making sure you’re up to date on all of the awesome things going on at our resorts.

Hello from all of us at Bass Lake! Wow, 2020 has been a crazy year and it is now coming to end. We have had pretty good weather here the past couple months which has allowed us to get some projects done that we have not had time to do. The upper clubhouse wall has been repaired as well as the laundry room ceiling. It is so quiet and peaceful here in the wintertime. We did get a little snow this week, just in time for Christmas. Now, Dan and Carl will stay busy just plowing and shoveling decks and salting pathways.

The new cabins are coming along great, the decks and skirting have been completed and look amazing! We plan to install a new transformer next week and then we can hookup the electric to them. We are very excited to get them open and ready to use by spring. We also plan to add some more Wifi poles over the winter to help broaden the coverage throughout the park.

Nikki has most of the activities for next year already loaded on Campers Ap. If you are starting to make plans for the camping season, please make sure you look at all the great weekends we have planned for this year.

A lot of members have been coming out and staying in the cabins, it is great to see everyone. If you would like to come out and visit us this winter, please call us at the resort to make a reservation so we can explain what to expect at check in.  Our water is now off for the winter and we do not plow to the sites so camping is difficult, but the cabins will be open for you to use all year. We are limited on staff this time of year and most amenities are closed for the season however the lower clubhouse and restrooms will remain open for your use. Someone is at the greeting station to assist you every day between 9am-4pm. We are still practicing social distancing and wearing our masks in all buildings to ensure everyone stays healthy and safe.

We hope you all have a Happy New Year and we look forward to seeing you all soon. We are hoping for a great 2021 camping season!

Thanks,

Heather Powis
