Okay, you know, we know it, everyone knows it…..Luna Sands is hot in the summer!  We had a good July. The 4th of July was actually very busy for us, and the resort hosted a fantastic Burger cookout.  Lewis served his special potato salad, and Clarence helped get all the burger cooked.  Dusty and Kelly got all the food prepped, and the members came and ate it all.  So much fun!

Summer tends to be very quiet here at the resort, and we are able to get a few projects done without having to fix and repair them every day.  We’re proud of our most recent project, which is the beginning phase of adding new sites.  The sewer line from the top of the woods all the way to site 112 was installed.  Most of you will never notice this since all the work has been covered up.  The next phase is getting the certified engineered plans for the sites developed.  That may take a while, but the process has begun. 

Summer is also the month of vacations for the LSR staff.  Everyone on the staff fills in for their co-workers while they take vacations.  This does slow down some of our projects and plans, but it’s also the time of year when it’s too hot to do a lot.   August will be a very slow month, and we expect to have a great Labor Day celebration.
