Located conveniently on Hwy 16 just minutes from Rapid City, Keystone, Hill City, Custer State Park, and MOUNT RUSHMORE – Rushmore Shadows Resort is the premier local rv camping destination for everything in Mount Rushmore South Dakota.
Home to cabins, tent sites, full hookup RV sites (30 & 50 amp), pine trees, and lots of family fun! We have family activities, mini golf, a pool, nearby hiking trails, a camp store, playground, and sports courts. We pride ourselves on having a fun atmosphere, being private, secure, and quiet. We went to the Gettysburg Battlefield Campground. It was beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and the campground is very well taken care of. Shout out to Brooks who took us on the tour and gave us all the ins and outs of the membership. We are excited to start camping at all the campgrounds and see all the wonderful places.
We love Sycamore Lodge. We are considered to be “local” since we live only 20 minutes away. We love being able to go down for the day as well as taking the motor home for longer times to get away. Most everyone is friendly and welcoming.
Loved the facility and the staff was top notch. It was awesome that Gettysburg has a bus that stops right at the resort to take you into town or all the way to Harrisburg. And an all day pass was only $3.00. We will definitely be returning and hope to stay longer.
