Our favorite resort is Gettysburg Battlefield Resort; unfortunately, we have not made it to another one yet. We were hoping to go to Bass Lake last year but did not get there due to Covid-19.
We enjoyed a great concert at our campsite this past summer. We also enjoy the activities & unique events that they have throughout the year. Our daughter loved Trick or Treating through the campground the other year. We also enjoy just being able to spend time together as a family relaxing, making smores, enjoying campfires, & being able to get away from home for a little while.

Gettysburg is close to home, so it makes it easy to get away for the weekend. We also like how nice the resorts are & the friendliness of the staff.

My role at Pymatuning Adventures Resort is being the property maintenance supervisor. I have done many years in property maintenance management. I’ve also been a bodyguard for singers and actors and I ran a group home for aged-out foster youth. I’m certified for the EPA refrigeration and have an ordained minister licensing at PAR where I am their maintenance manager. My favorite part of the job is helping the people, I know that sounds cheesy maybe even a political response, but it truly is the best part of the job! I stay with TRA because in the one-word, family, I love my team at Pymatuning Adventures Resort. Unfortunately, I have not camped with TRA yet but I know we have wonderful campgrounds to camp. I think I would enjoy Gettysburg because I grew up in a little Civil War town and I love the history! I have so many memories that I favor and most of them are when our team having fun with the member's in water wars and the holidays all the events that we come together for!

My role with Travel Resorts of America is as an Accounting Manager for about 15 years. I oversee all accounts payable, sales tax filings, fixed assets. I love what I do and enjoy the daily challenges it brings. I have 2 children. My son is 28 and my daughter just turned 16. I enjoy spending time with my grandbabies and watching my daughter play volleyball. I have had the opportunity to camp at Sycamore. Unfortunately, I do not have a camper anymore. But, when I did, we were there quite often. I enjoyed socializing with the members and staff and making lifelong friends. The whole atmosphere was so relaxing. The pool, the entertainment, the activities for the children, and the relaxing made it feel like I was a million miles from home, even though I was only 30 minutes away. Hopefully, I will be able to visit some of the other resorts in the near future. (Sounds like a great summer getaway) I am looking forward to many more years with Trident and watching as we grow.
