At our luxury and private camping and RV resort, Sycamore Lodge Resort is located just 70 miles south of Raleigh and 90 miles east of Charlotte North Carolina. It is close to many area attractions including the nations legendary and historic Pinehurst Golf Course. The beautiful North Carolina Sycamore Lodge Resort, rests on 194 acres of land with beautiful pine, sycamore, dogwood, oak and magnificent magnolia trees, sprawling the lodges campgrounds! We went to the Gettysburg Battlefield Campground. It was beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and the campground is very well taken care of. Shout out to Brooks who took us on the tour and gave us all the ins and outs of the membership. We are excited to start camping at all the campgrounds and see all the wonderful places.
We love Sycamore Lodge. We are considered to be “local” since we live only 20 minutes away. We love being able to go down for the day as well as taking the motor home for longer times to get away. Most everyone is friendly and welcoming.
Loved the facility and the staff was top notch. It was awesome that Gettysburg has a bus that stops right at the resort to take you into town or all the way to Harrisburg. And an all day pass was only $3.00. We will definitely be returning and hope to stay longer.
