Do you know the old saying April showers bring May flowers? Well, we are excited to see the beauty of May springing up here at the ranch! We have been busy, busy, busy with the yearly tasks of saying farewell to Spring and hello to Summer. We also have been working on a beautiful garden for your relaxation as well as your appetite. It is located on the lower hill in the green space in front of the T&V sites. A great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a cool beverage in the afternoon. This project will be ongoing so come see and lend a hand while you’re here at the ranch.
Our wranglers have been busy as weekend trail rides filled up in April. The herd is ready to get back in full swing and trail ride reservations are highly encouraged as soon as you make your camping/ cabin reservation. Please note no shows will be charged to your member profile. Avoid this by simply canceling your reservation at least 24 hours in advance to ensure others can enjoy this popular amenity. Call the stables at 740-492-0690 and Kayla her staff will be happy to get your reservation on the books!

The month of May is an exciting one for recreation! May 2nd is the first night for karaoke which is a member favorite. Bingo, a close second will be starting back up the soon after. The Nature Center is slated to open back up with some cool new critters to come see. The week before Memorial Day the Sunset Pontoon Cruise is back and this year, we will have 2 boats available which means there will be more space to sign up! We will also start back up our canoe/kayak rides! Memorial Day weekend will be a blast with our first parade and a moment of silence at the pond. We will also have our first post-covid cookout! Due to restrictions, it will not be able to be a covered dish. Recreation Team will provide all the food and we will happily accept donations to keep our food gatherings happening all summer! We are looking forward to this month and the kickoff of summer with you all!
