And just like that, the end of summer is here with a blast!! Wow-what a FUN summer y’all!!! We had a blast at the member build last month and then the 4th of July was too much fun with the parade with 34 golf carts in tow. Do not forget all the red, white, and blue crafts. Santa himself flew in here with activities the reindeers and elves were jealous over. The jolly ole man himself took pictures and wrote down naughty and nice kids. Plus giving reminders that Christmas is not far away, and list needs to be made is here and the mystery is on…… dun dun dunnnnnnn…….. who did it? Who will solve the mystery here at the Lodge????? It is a murder she wrote mix with MacGyver to figure it out.
Yo Ho Ho Ho the pirate’s life for me……… that is right Jack Sparrow is back, and he might be making people walk ye ole plank in the pool??? Do not forget that all kids need to be with an adult member of TRA to be in the pool area.
The fun does not stop their people!!!! August is still rolling in hot like a 5-alarm fire call with fundraising and Carnival fun. I mean who would not want to play games, hit the button on the dunking booth, and raise monies for the Derby Fire Department. This will fly us all into aviation time where learn about private airplanes at the local airstrip.
This month will be fully packed with fun and amazing adventures. You just need to be here at Sycamore Lodge!
Friendly reminders: Adult swim is on Wednesday from noon to 2 PM. But do not get upset, Bob is playing candy BINGO in the Henhouse and people are winning BIG. Also, aggressive dogs are discouraged at the resort, and let us make sure we clean up after them. Let us squeeze this last bit of summer while we can.

Are we ready for JUULLLYYY FUN!!!! Here we go with 5 weeks of Sycamore FUN!!! Bob has plans to keep everyone busy with different themed weekends. We start off with the 4th of July with a flag retirement ceremony, a parade, crafts, and more. Then Santa will be rolling in here on vacation. Santa you may ask????? Oh Yes, Santa will be here taking a break enjoying Sycamore Lodge and Carolina weather. Take a picture with him and remember he is always watching for naughty /nice kids for his list. Hint Hint……. The next weekend will be war, “WATER WARS” that is, and no one is safe. Make sure you keep your items filled up with water. hen after all the wars we need to relax and have a good ole pig picking Beach Luau. Finally, is the chocolate lovers’ weekend with a HUGE slip and slide, pie-eating, and more!!!! July seems like a fun month to be at Sycamore Lodge.

Please note: There are some new guidelines concerning pets for the 2021 season. On Camp Sites Manufactured Portable Pet Fences are allowed, however, the size can be no larger than 200 square feet. Effective May 1, 2021 the Pet Fee for a Pet-Friendly Cabin will be $20 per day. Just a reminder that there is a maximum of two pets allowed in the pet-friendly cabin.
