Hello campers,
Make sure you bring your sunblock and shades because the pool is open for the season!!! Can I hear a YEAH!!!! Remember to be patient and kind as we will only have half the furniture out for guest to use at this time for social distancing. Pool hours are back to normal hours. Hot tub is under repair and will be up and running soon.
The resort is looking aroma-mazing with the blooming of roses and trees around here. As well as our fresh planted summer flowers putting the icing on the cake in the plant beds. Staff is working diligently with painting the coffee bistro deck and the front porch area to the lodge. They are beautiful and cannot wait for you to see them. The lodge windows and doors are also getting some love with a fresh paint for this Carolina sun.
Projects that will be happening this month are new shingles on the guard house. Then split rail fencing by the septic area in the forest and at the end of site 17.
Don’t forget member build will be happening on June 19th and will be behind the bathhouse in the garden area of grist mill cabin. The member build will consist of placing an observation deck overlooking the garden and path. A casual area to relax and take in nature while watching wildlife.
Only 39 more sites to finish this next winter and all of the sites will be full hook up! We are also working on getting additional sites in the forest area which is in the engineering phase at this moment.
Be sure to check out all of the new items in the store this year. There are a bunch of new clothing items and coffee service is back! Grab a coffee or ice cream and enjoy the new bistro deck just off of the store.
