Travel Resorts is proud to announce new ways to camp for the 2022 season! Have a special day that you would like to camp but can’t seem to get the dates you want? For a limited time, we are offering a “Try before you buy” camping experience! One 7 day stay during peak season, 93 days in advance with holidays included, or 21 days off peak, 93 days in advance, holidays included! This is a one-time only benefit to give all our members a chance at a taste of the good life.

Starting Jan 1 you will be able to purchase your package and use it any time you would like for the 2022 season!

We are excited to give you all this opportunity and hope you are excited too. But don’t wait! Limited packages available. More information on how to purchase will be given during the month of January. We look forward to seeing you!

Team Member Of The Month

Dan Hamilton

Dan has been on the maintenance staff at BLR since he was 16 years old, this is his 22nd year with us. He is always available to help members and staff with a smile. Dan has been a dedicated employee and he has a lot of knowledge about the park. He answers many calls in the summer and works on projects, ploughing and shovelling in the winter. You can see his handywork throughout the park. Dan and his wife Alicia, have 2 boys and live in the local area. He enjoys his “home life” and is always available for the boys after school games. In addition to spending time with his family, he is an avid hunter.

Mike & Kathy Lowery

Hello, we are Mike and Kathy Lowery from Chambersburg, PA We have been a member since 2008. Our favourite resort is Gettysburg. It is our home park and we have met many friends over the years that have become family to us. We have been bringing our granddaughter Valaree camping since she was 10 days old, and she is now 12. We love helping at the resort when needed but the Haunted house is our favourite thing to help with. We love the pool and shuffleboard. We love making mountain pies and of course a toasted marshmallow for smores.

Member Of The Month #2

Rachel Lockwood

Alongside Santa himself, she played the role of Mrs. Clause and greeted all the children with a smile and charm. In the morning, the kiddos wrote letters to Santa that included their wish for this Christmas season. Being the incredibly kind and passionate person she is, she whisked off and with Christmas magic made sure that each child had a gift under the tree that evening that reflected that very wish. Talk about bringing the magic of Christmas to life for all our little campers! The true magic however… happens off the campground property. Miss Rachel works at a NICU helping to care for the precious new born babies. She slipped into her holiday gear and made an extra special visit as Mrs. Clause to the little ones during the holiday season. As you can imagine any parent struggles during this time, this little act of kindness brough joy to their hearts.
