Hello Wally World Campers!
Another month gone by and here we are in September. The beginning of my favorite season, fall. Hopefully we start seeing some cooler fall like weather.
Don’t forget about the member build on the 11th, which will begin at 10:00 am near the garden house. We will be adding some really cool seating areas along the river. T-shirt and lunch for the participants. Canaan Meats will be here smoking pork butts and ham for pulled pork sandwiches. Watch for more information.
September 25th is Octoberfest at the Grist Mill. Transportation will be provided for the local campgrounds courtesy of River Run. There are no set times for pick up. It usually takes about 45 minutes for them to make a round. Wait by the Wally World entrance and be patient. Please do not make any calls as to where the shuttle is. Please be grateful to the shuttle drivers, these folks are volunteers. If things do not go well this could be the last year for this service. Please be kind.
A couple of quick reminders. If you have an issue on the campground, please go to the store, or please call the after-hour phone number that is on the paperwork you receive when you check in. Quiet time is 11:00 PM and we expect everyone to be courteous and kind to your fellow campers.

Please note: There are some new guidelines concerning pets for the 2021 season. On Camp Sites Manufactured Portable Pet Fences are allowed, however, the size can be no larger than 200 square feet. Effective May 1, 2021 the Pet Fee for a Pet-Friendly Cabin will be $20 per day. Just a reminder that there is a maximum of two pets allowed in the pet-friendly cabin.
